Information

This mineral is designed to be fed to beef cattle on pasture. For control of active infection of anaplasma caused by Anaplasma marginale susceptible to Chlortetracycline. An insect growth regulator for continuous feeding during the fly season to prevent the development of horn flies in the manure of treated cattle. Feed as directed. 

 

Feeding Instructions

Each ounce of this medicated mineral contains 175 mg of Chlortetracycline and 4.165 mg of S-Methoprene. Feed 4 oz of Dearwester 2:1 Breeder Mineral (CTC5600) Medicated per head daily to beef cattle on pasture weighing 1400 LB to supply 0.5 mg of Chlortetracycline per LB of bodyweight per day and 35.7 mg S-Methoprene per 100 LB of bodyweight per month. Provide fresh, clean water and good-quality forage at all times. ​
