Grain.Nutrition Services, Inc. was started in 2003 when Matt and Andrea Dearwester purchased the Cargill plant on the West side of town to start the commercial swine feed production unit. In 2014, they broke ground on the current site on the East side of town. To ensure we have enough corn to produce swine feed throughout the year, the facility has grain storage for 2.5 Million bushels.
Feed Mill.NSI is a completely computerized milling system that produces strictly swine feed. They have the capability to handle Sal-Curb, a formaldehyde-based anti-microbial feed additive that is used to reduce the salmonella infection of the food chain, which makes NSI stand out in the feed mill industry. NSI uses approximately 15,000 bu corn, or equivalent to 80 Acres per day.
