Reid Allen 

Industry, Illinois

Reid comes from Quincy and currently resides in Macomb, IL. While growing up competitively showing cattle he grew a further passion for the livestock & agriculture industry. Although exclusively showing Hereford cattle, alongside his family, Reid has expanded his operation to raising Hereford, Simmental, & Maine cattle. Feed and nutrition have always been strong interest for Reid, and he is extremely excited to build lasting relationships with each customer here at Dearwester Grain. 

Ron Runner

Sam Miller

Clayton, Illinois

Sam grew up on a grain and livestock farm near Coatsburg. As a youth Sam was involved in Boy Scouts, 4H and FFA. Sam currently resides in Clayton with his wife Miranda, and two Sons Danny and Bob. Sam’s son Danny is in 4H and FFA, Bob is in 4H and shows Rabbits and poultry at our local fairs and shows. Sam has been with Dearwester Grain for 12 years and at the Clayton location for 27 years. Sam enjoys visiting with his customers and finding solutions for their individual operations. In Sam’s spare time he enjoys the outdoors, Boy Scout camping and hunting, especially with my family and bird dogs.


Andrew Gerecke

Clayton, Illinois

Andrew Gerecke grew up in Liberty, IL and now lives outside of Clayton. Andrew Grew up showing cattle in 4h and FFA and still shows cattle at the local county fairs. He enjoys visiting with customers and talking feed and nutrition options for their operation. Andrew has been a part of Dearwester Grain for 9 years.

​Sawyer Johnson

Golden, Illinois
Originally from South Dakota, Sawyer's passion for agriculture was cultivated on a cow calf operation, where she grew a deep love and respect for the industry. After studying agribusiness at a Junior College in Kansas, Sawyer pursued higher education at Iowa State University, earning both a bachelor's in animal science and a master's in business administration.
 Sawyer's dedication to her craft is evident through her internships at Purina during the summers of 2022 and 2023, where she gained valuable insights and experience in the industry.
 When she's not hard at work, Sawyer enjoys tending to her garden, staying active with regular workouts, and leading a young women's Bible study group.
